Mediation

In Texas, most courts require mediation before parties can proceed to a final trial and oftentimes require mediation early on in a case as well, prior to any formal hearings. Mediation is a process in which a neutral third party (the mediator) assists the parties and their counsel in the resolution of their family law case. Any agreements reached in mediation are binding on the parties and irrevocable. Mediation gives parties and their counsel the opportunity to craft specific agreements which are unique to their family and which may not be available to them in court. The attorneys at Moffett Law Firm are experienced in preparing your case for mediation and in guiding a client through the mediation process.
